Though this is a free event, we request that you please -re-registration through Eventbrite. Registrants will receive full event details before the event.
This year’s tour will be highlighting projects in West Elgin! Projects will include wetlands, tree planting, species at risk, tall grass prairies, and erosion control!
The tour will run from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., with dinner, refreshments, and testimonials from landowners to follow at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will be held at Arrowwood Farm & Events, one of this years project sites!
Full event, as well as site and project information available on Eventbrite.
All project sites have been wonderfully taken care of over the years and are a great demonstration of how a wetland, prairie, or tree project can enhance and benefit many different land use types.
It is encouraged but not mandatory to visit all sites, as there will be a chance to win a prize if you’re able to make all 5!
A map and detailed description of each site will be emailed to attendees a week prior to the event.
