Great Lakes Virtual Field Trip - Grade 8, 9, 10 - The Huron-Erie Corridor

Sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks

The Huron-Erie Corridor Virtual Field Trip aims to increase awareness of the role the Great Lakes have in our everyday lives. The Virtual Field Trip introduces students to the Huron-Erie Corridor portion of the Great Lakes shoreline. The online learning tool includes an interactive โ€˜clickableโ€™ Google Slide presentation filled with local content. The program shares an Indigenous view of water and a western science observation of the โ€˜Great Problemsโ€™ faced by the Great Lakes.

Local history, geography, human actions, and Water Protectors assist in telling the story of โ€˜Our Water!โ€™
