Delaware Conservation Area is a peaceful 3-hectare spot along the Thames River, perfect for fishing and canoeing. Known as a pickerel hotspot during the season, this flat floodplain features tallgrass prairie, mature trees, and easy river access. A large parking lot accommodates up to 60 vehicles. Open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset, year-round, and free to visit, it’s a great place for a quiet day outdoors. Please note: the area is prone to flooding due to its riverside location.
