1. General Volunteering
General volunteer activities may include work with education, special events, or Board and Committee work. This is someone who doesnโt hesitate to get their hands dirty no matter what the task is.

2. Special Event Volunteering
We have special events throughout the year that weโd love your help at. Many hands make light work! These events include river clean up, conservation area clean up, and tree planting.
Chatham-Kent & Lambton Children’s Waterfest (September 29, October 2, 2025) is always looking for volunteers, including setup, take down, programming and administration. Click here to find out more!

3. Committee Positions
Committee positions are for volunteers who want to be involved in planning and long-term goals within the LTVCA. Regular meetings and communication will be required for these positions.

4. Group Volunteering
Are you looking for group volunteer opportunities for your Scouts group, workplace, or philanthropic group? We love to get large groups involved in our ongoing activities. Some projects that large groups have helped with in the past includes tree planting, pollinator garden planting, garbage pickups, and invasive removal, but weโre always open to new ideas.
