Join Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority for the 6th Annual Cultivating Conservation Tour. Hop on the bus at Longwoods Road Conservation Area for a day of fun in the field while touring four conservation projects. Learn how farmers and rural landowners are using best management practices to resolve environmental concerns and benefit the natural landscape. This is a free event, with lunch and refreshments provided. Registration is required to attend this event. Get your creative during a pottery making activity at Longwoods Road Conservation Area on Friday, August 21, 2026! Participants will create their own mini-pot, or clay creation and get to explore hands on examples. There is a fee of $3 per creation, with a $5 minimum for point of sale use. Join knowledgeable conservation authority staff for a guided walk through Sharon Creek Conservation Area. This program offers participants a chance to explore scenic trails while learning about native plants, wildlife, and the importance of protecting natural habitats. Guided Trail Walks are offered free of charge, no parking fee, with the support of Middlesex Centre. Participants are asked to meet at the trail side parking lot, not the reservoir lot.
